The Sheri Affair

An Old Style Experience

The Sheri Affair is one of the most coveted Navratri experiences in Ahmedabad, taking place on the second night of Navratri. This exclusive event, steeped in tradition, enrapture guests into a world of timeless elegance and cultural richness. The Sheri Affair mandates a dress code of all-white attire, which not only creates a visual unity but also enhances the ambiance with a sense of serenity, tranquillity, and purity.

The event goes above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience for all attendees. Once you’ve entered, there’s no need to worry about spending any extra money—Starbucks coffee is offered as part of the experience, allowing you to relax and savour a delicious cup of coffee. In addition, a variety of services, such as rejuvenating foot massages is available, further elevating your time at this unforgettable event.

This enchanting evening is designed to celebrate the spirit of Navratri in its truest form, with an atmosphere full of joy, affection, and community. Guests will be immersed in an experience that blends the old-world charm with contemporary energy, as traditional rituals, music, and dance come together in perfect harmony.

The Sheri Affair is much more than just a celebration; it’s an opportunity to reconnect with heritage, relive cultural memories, and create new ones. With intricate décor and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is a night where every moment feels like a beautiful journey back to the roots of Gujarat's most cherished festival.

Why an all-white dress code, you ask?

White is not only visually pleasing and elegant, but it also symbolizes a range of emotions and values that resonate deeply with us. Most importantly, the ‘White Only’ theme is inspired by our worship of Mata Brahmacharini on the second day of Navratri. Mata Brahmacharini, traditionally depicted in a white saree, embodies peace and serenity. This inspiration led us to celebrate the second night of Navratri in white.

As the saying goes, the power of prayer is magnified when performed collectively. When the gathering is dressed in the favourite colour of Mata Brahmacharini on her special day, the spiritual energy becomes profoundly powerful. Each year, we rename this event to reflect its core themes of Love and Peace, embodied in our celebration of Spread #Safed For Love & Peace.
